Eater NY put together a humorous (and yet scarily accurate) list of ways to make a restaurant less boring. Plenty of the suggestions, from foraging to mixology, chef counters and serving whole animals, are dead on with Seattle's dining gestalt. We're not entirely down with the suggestion to "hire a chef from Portland," but come on, serious coffee programs and serving more vegetables? No wonder Frank Bruni went crazy when he visited here.
