Marco's Supper Club Becoming Black Bottle Project

New, 1 comment

The team behind Belltown's wine-focused tavern Black Bottle is expanding once again, taking over the nearby low-slung building that's long been home to Marco's Supper Club. Ronald Holden says longtime owner Marco Rulff (also the ex-husband of Marjorie's Donna Moodie) is retiring.

The new Black Bottle project doesn't yet have a name or a menu, but founder Chris Linker says "people on both sides of the lake appreciate value," so don't expect a fine dining spot. Speaking of the other side of Lake Washington, Black Bottle Postern opened earlier this year in downtown Bellevue and, according to Tan Vinh, has been "duplicating the success" of the original.
