Mariners relief pitcher Chris Ray recently brewed his own beer over at Fremont Brewing, conditioning it with baseball bats and everything. ESPN has a video of the player/beer geek listing the top 10 rejected names for his creation. Sadly, we'll never get the chance to knock back a pint of Stirrup Sock Summer Ale or Athletic Supporter Pilsner but Ray's actual beer, Homefront IPA, is available at Safeco, and a few other locations. ESPN's Jim Caple called it "the most productive use of Mariners bats in at least two seasons." [ESPN via SBN]
