Owners of Poco Wine Room Say It's For Sale

Over the weekend, owners Peter Moore and Bart Reynolds of Poco Wine Room announced via their newsletter that the Capitol Hill wine bar is now up for sale:

This has been a fantastic time in our lives, so deciding to move on hasn't come easy. But the timing is right to change our focus from Poco to spend more time with family and to new projects. Besides, there's not much more that we can give to the business that we haven't already given.

In November 2011, Poco Wine Room would have celebrated its fifth anniversary at its current location. Earlier this year, however, Poco's building, "The Braeburn" was sold to new ownership and Poco hoped for "our new landlord to be as sane and friendly as our current one."

We found a listing stating that, as of 7/31/11, the lease has been sold. However, the listing revealed that Poco's lease runs through to June 2013, and it was offered for sale at $368k.
