8 oz. Burger Bar Bringing Even More Burgers to Capitol Hill

OK, this day of restaurant announcements is getting downright ridiculous. Capitol Hill Seattle chimes in on the breaking news front with word of even more burgers coming to the neighborhood. Recently shuttered LA restaurant 8 oz. Burger Bar is apparently destined to resurface in Seattle, namely at the Harvard Market shopping center.

Why, that's the very same complex where Tidbit Bistro closed its doors last week, with mysterious promises about another new restaurant moving into the space at Broadway and Union. CHS doesn't have confirmation if that will indeed be the space 8 oz. occupies; another potential restaurant storefront up near Marination Station is for lease there as well.

As for 8 oz. itself, it's the brainchild of Govind Armstrong, whom you may remember from such films TV appearances as Top Chef Masters Season 2 and Iron Chef America. CHS digs into some other weird stuff surrounding Armstrong's business partner and 8 oz.'s other locations.

These are heady days for carnivores on the Hill, with recent arrivals Li'l Woody's and the new Blue Moon Burgers location gracing the local burger landscape.
