Espresso Vivace Locations Closed Tuesday For March in Memory of Brian Fairbrother

A march in memory of much-loved Espresso Vivace manager/barista Brian Fairbrother is planned for Tuesday morning. Fairbrother passed away last week after sustaining serious head injuries in an August 30 bicycle crash. Vivace locations will be closed tomorrow to remember Fairbrother, and so employees can attend the march.

The march starts at 9 a.m. at Vivace's Alley 24 location, which Fairbrother managed, and continues to Volunteer Park. A picnic is scheduled for 12 p.m. (weather permitting) and attendees are encouraged to bring flowers and twine. Eastlake Ave. Blog says "a white memorial bicycle with a Vivace coffee cup tucked into the frame hangs in a tree at the location" near Fairview Avenue where the crash occurred.
