Wine-Drinking, Scrabble-Playing 40 Under 40 Fun Facts

The Puget Sound Business Journal has full profiles up for this year's batch of 40 Under 40 honorees, being feted at a swank party tonight. You might recall this list includes a significant group of food and restaurant folk. Dive in for randomly enjoyable tidbits like the following: Po Dog's Laura Olson is addicted to Words With Friends. Ice cream empiress Molly Moon Neitzel has been known to open a bottle of wine before the work day's technically done, a practice fully endorsed at Eater Seattle World Headquarters.

Creativity points go to Brian Canlis for his answer to the question about what superpower he'd most like to have: "LIKE to have? How about ALREADY have? I shouldn’t even be talking about this." Also for his original plan to be photographed in his underwear, with a suit and tie as his prop (relax, lades...we're talking boxers and a T-shirt).

Other food and drink honorees include winemaker Jody Elsom of Elsom Cellars, Savor Seattle Food Tours founder Angela Shen and Jim Brooke of big-name food distributor Corfini Gourmet.
