Hanna Raskin has been all over the Puyallup Fair, marveling at the fried things and examining a series of "new-to-the-fair" foodstuffs. First up, at Leavenwurst she finds "a perfectly acceptable sausage served on a seeded white submarine roll and piled with sweet sautéed onions." The stand also sells deep-fried green beans.
