Mistral Kitchen Launches Monday Night Arabesque Menu

New, 1 comment

It's not a pop-up, exactly, but on Monday night, Mistral Kitchen will debut a new special Mondays-only menu, dubbed Arabesque. The menu changes every four weeks, focusing on flavors and techniques of a different part of the extended Arab region, from Morocco to Pakistan. Diners can choose either a $45 tasting menu, or order a la carte.

First up: Lebanon, followed by Egypt and Israel in the coming months. The inspiration for these Arabesque menus, according to the official Mistral Kitchen dispatch, comes from cook Taylor Cheney (not to be confused with her formerly mustachoed colleague Taylor Thornhill). She's been researching these various culinary traditions and preparing Middle Eastern-style family meals for the restaurant's staff.

The Lebanon meals run Mondays through October 10. Egypt-inspired menus are available Mondays from October 17 through November 7.
