This new Texas-sized season of Top Chef is all about the excessively complicated twists: Bravo announced today the names of 29 "hopefuls," 16 of whom actually go on to compete on the show. Representing Seattle: Simon Pantet of Capitol Hill's Twenty-Two Doors (or 22, if you will); Sutra's Colin Patterson (Seattle Met interviewed him at the casting call); Spur cook Nina Vicente and Ashley Villaluz, listed in the Bravo release only as "sous chef".
