Game On: Canlis's Next Social Media Ploy Has Arrived

It's baaa-aack. Canlis's long-hinted, oft-whispered, and frequently alluded to next social media campaign has arrived. But what does it all mean? Earlier this afternoon, both the restaurant and its costume-loving co-scion Brian Canlis tweeted the photo above. Both were accompanied by cryptic messages and the hash tag #canlis4free.

The last photo-based hunt from these guys started off on an enigmatic note as well, but ultimately resulted in a lot of national attention and chef Jason Franey's excellent Hearth & Home pop-up at Macrina.

Eater hears more details on this one are forthcoming. If this go-round is nearly as clever as the last one, or last year's 60th anniversary extravaganza of clues, scavenger hunts and free meals, this thing is going to be big. Stay tuned.
