Raskin's Caesar; Trader Joe's Delays; Bar del Corso's Pairing

BELLTOWN—Were you wondering where Hanna Raskin concluded her epic Caesar salad quest? Why, Queen City Grill, where "the romaine was crisp; the thick dressing was unabashedly garlicky, and - best of all - the cheese had the salty tang of high-quality Parmesan." [Seattle Weekly]

WEST SEATTLE—Ahoy, West Seattle, you'll have to wait a bit longer for easy access to peanut butter-filled pretzels and cheap gyoza. West Seattle Blog says a 2011 opening for the long-awaited Trader Joe's ain't happening. Looks like "sometime in 2012." [WSB]

BEACON HILL— As if you (and tons of other people) needed another reason to visit Bar del Corso, the Beacon Hill restaurant says it's offering a cider and pizza pairing as part of Washington Cider Week. From September 13-17 you can debate the merits of an apple cider draft from Tieton Cider Works Apple alongside the chanterelle and pancetta manila clam and cherry tomato pizza. The full cider week schedule is here. [EaterWire]
