Mawadda Cafe's Success Story

The West Seattle Herald profiles the success story that is Mawadda Cafe owner Rami Al-Jebori, whose second location will open next month. The Iraq-born Al-Jebori earned a degree in petroleum engineering at Baghdad University and ended up washing dishes when he moved to the US. He eventually put himself through culinary school and worked his way up to owning one (and, shortly, two) successful Middle Eastern/Mediterranean restaurants. [WSH]
