Josefina's Mexican Grill Now Open

Josefina's Mexican Grill opened in Magnolia in the waning days of 2011. This Mexican eatery serves traditional fare such as tacos el pastor, carnitas, and adobada. Josefina Chavez Vazquez, a co-owner of the restaurant(along with son Carlos and husband Carlos) can often be seen making corn tortillas by hand. They are open daily from 11 am to 9 pm. No liquor license, so no booze as of yet. Rene Julio's mural has transformed the interior, and it is no longer reminiscent of the Melt Cafe.
