Elegant French restaurant Carnegie's closed over a year ago, and the Kangaroo & Kiwi folks will be moving into its old ground floor space at the Old Carnegie Building says Ballard News Tribune. We spoke to Kangaroo & Kiwi Pub's owner Bradley Howe, who confirmed his plans to open a restaurant in the vast 3000 square foot space(complete with a wine cellar and outdoor patio).
Howe tells us that Kangaroo & Kiwi will feature prominently in the name of the new restaurant. In addition to the meat pies and pub fare available at the Aurora location, expect to see more complex offerings. Kangaroo & Kiwil Pub opened on Anzac day in 2001, and Howe plan for this new Kangaroo & Kiwi venue to open on April 25th as well--in 2012.
