Skelly and the Bean's "Last Few Weeks"; Wurst Place's Final Inspection

CAPITOL HILL—In her debut post for Nancy Leson's All You Can Eat blog, Rebekah Denn checks in on Zephyr Paquette's Skelly and the Bean, which is planned for the space occupied most recently by Easy Joe's. Denn characterizes this period as the "last few weeks before opening day." [Seattle Times]

MADRONARestaurant Bea's co-owner Kate Perry says that the build out for the space formerly occupied by June(and prior to that Cremant) is going as planned. Perry and co-owner/chef Tom Black are "still hoping for and planning on a mid-February open date, but we don't have a precise date yet." [EaterWire]

CAPITOL HILL8 oz. Burger Bar's Kevin Chung now says an early January opening is in the cards. Orginally, he and his partners had hoped to open the Govind Armstrong concept in Tidbit Bistro's old space in early December. [EaterWire]

SOUTH LAKE UNION— All manners of sausage will be coming soon to SLU, as Bob Liptak reports that The Wurst Place just passed the final construction inspection.
