Mestizo Tequila Ultra Lounge & Grill Coming to Belltown

Mestizo Tequila Ultra Lounge & Grill will take over the space previously occupied by Twist, in the ground floor of the Pomeroy condo building. According to general manager Carlos Alvarado, Mestizo plans to open March 1st. Alvarado says that the menu will be Latin/Caribbean: "We call that MESTIZA food." According to Mestizo's Facebook page, the incoming restaurant will offer over 200 types of tequila.

Twist Restaurant & Lounge shuttered in July 2011 shortly after changing its name to the decidedly unfortunate ".twist.restaurant.lounge."
