Are you sitting down? If not, we'll wait. Mark Fuller's Spring Hill just announced that they are going native--Hawaiian, and will be changing their name to Ma'ono Fried Chicken & Whisky, the recently introduced moniker for their monday fried chicken nights. For fans, this translates to fried chicken every. single. night. The name change and new menu will be effective February 8th.
Here is what the Fullers had to say about the name/concept change on Facebook:
Spring Hill Restaurant & Bar is now Ma'ono Fried Chicken & Whisky. Same chef. Same location. Same commitment to good food. Just a different approach and a brand new menu. Inspired by Hawaii and perfect for sharing, our new menu encourages you to have a bit more fun with it all.Given the success of Spring Hill's fried chicken dinners, their reintroduction as Ma'ono, and the recent menu redesign, this is a logical course. This is the new dinner menu--as you can see, Ma'ono's "new American" roots are very much evident--and sigh of relief, the burger can still be had.
