Internets Outraged by TGI Friday's Hemingway Daiquiri

Though it's long been a fixture on TGI Friday's menus, cocktail hounds took to Twitter yesterday to voice their displeasure at TGI Friday's $5 Hemingway Daiquiri. Papa Hemingway very much enjoyed a daiquiri, but the twitterverse is skeptical as to whether the TGIF version made with X-Rated Liquer and SKYY Citrus Vodka is "just as Ernest Hemingway drank it."

Seattle's roving cocktail maven Rocky Yeh for one tweeted the classic, "I just threw up in my mouth a little, @TGIFridays should be ashamed." In the face of demands that it confirm Papa's fondness for X-Rated Liquer, @TGIFridays remained worryingly silent.
