Upscale neighorhood diner Coastal Kitchen has been remodeling and construction has been taking longer than anticipated. The eatery now says it will reopen on October 20, instead of the 13th. Look forward to a new oyster bar, a more substantive cocktail program, and a new menu containing entirely sustainable seafood. Executive chef Jason Jones will serve up paella, dried salt cod Fritters, po boys, and oysters on the half shell.
Here's a new option: Two Buck Shuck. Every night, oysters that are regularly priced at $2.50 each will be available for $2 all night, only at the oyster bar. Oyster selections will include Toten Pacific, Hamma Hamma, Quilcene Bay, and Kumamoto.
