James Weimann and Deming Maclise, the enterprising, globe-trotting duo behind Bastille and Poquitos have been working on raising the profile of Bastille chef Jason Stoneburner. (See here, here, and here.) Turns out, it's all for a good reason: Stoneburner will be getting his own place, just down the block from the Ballard bar and restaurant spills Seattle Met. And, to show their support and long-term plans for the chef, the new place will be called Stoneburner. The new eatery will focus on seasonal handmade pizzas and pastas. Go over to Seattle Met for all the details including the duo's plans for an interior from the Italian embassy in Buenos Aires.
