Japanese Style Creperie Now Open in Belltown

New, 1 comment

A new creperie called Just Crepes has opened late last month under the Monorail on 5th Avenue in Belltown. The owner and chef is Vinson Doan, who previously worked at Bites Asian Tapas & Wild Sushi across from CenturyLink Field. His 18-seat, 625-square-foot restaurant features an electric griddle for the crepes (6 savory items, all under $6; 11 sweet crepes, all under $5) as well as Boba (also known as Bubble Tea, $3 or $3.50 depending on flavors).

The location is in the southwest corner of the Archstone Belltown apartment building (in what had been the leasing office), and Doan is already at work offering samples and discounts to the building's tenants. "There's no other creperie in the neighborhood," he tells Eater. "This is a unique product." The phone numer is 206-456-5506 and daily hours of operations are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. (save for Sundays, when they open at 12 p.m.).
