The cream-filled body isn't even cold yet and both Cupcake Royale and Hot Cakes are paying homage to the impending death of Hostess. Starting Friday through November 25, all locations of Cupcake Royale will be offering their version of the classic Hostess chocolate cupcake and Snowball. Meanwhile, over at molten chocolate central, Autumn Martin of Hot Cakes will offer her version of a Ding Dong called a Bling Bling (complete with gold foil wrapper) starting December 15.
Martin's creations are all organic and can be all yours for $5 a pop. Cupcake Royale's treats will set you back $3.75. All of these locally-crafted desserts carry a shelf-life of roughly 1/100th of that of a real Hostess snack, so get 'em while they're hot. [EaterWire]
