Zoi Antonitsas, who has run the kitchen since Madison Park Conservatory opened in December 2010, begins her last week of service tomorrow. A source close to the MPC camps says, "She's taking the holidays off--a rare thing in this biz and super rare for her; she has a few projects and ideas for the beginning of 2013."
The Chef de Cuisine of Eater's 2012 Restaurant of the Year Award says goodbye to her crew December 1st.
Antonitsas was raised in Leschi, taking on her first job at Etta's, where she met Cormac Mahoney, chef/owner of MPC. She also spent time as a consultant for San Francisco's NOPA and served as the executive chef of Zazu in Santa Rosa. But she's most recognizable to many as a contestant on season 4 of Top Chef.
