Thaiku, the popular Thai restaurant on Ballard Ave. that shuttered nearly a year ago, will be resurrected on Phinney Ridge. The location will be announced closer to the early 2013 opening date, but all signs point to the old Gaspare space. Returning to the new Thaiku will be a selection of favorite hits from the old place (mixed with some more authentic Thai cuisine) along with many of the restaurant's original staff. The bar will also offer those same herbal cocktails from Thaiku's former bar, Fu Kun Wu. [EaterWire]
