Pagliacci Pizza opened their newest outlet in Madison Valley last week. Located at the corner of Madison Street and Arboretum Drive, this is the "the only LEED-certified stand-alone pizzeria in Seattle" per a rep. Pagliacci takes over a spot that was previously occupied by Spotless Cleaners. This new location is quite a bit sleeker and more modern than Pagliacci's other locations.
Note that the new location comes complete with a Coca Cola Freestyle machine. This fancy Coke machine serves up more than a hundred combinations of soft drinks, allowing customers to create custom flavors from all Coke brands. Along with the new, comes this bit of history: the Madison Valley location "was actually home to Pagliacci's first Commissary (where we make our pizza dough, pasta dishes and popular Pagliaccio dressing), 20 years ago. We later moved the commissary – first to a location on Martin Luther King Jr. Way, and then to its current location on Capitol Hill."
