Super Sad True Love Story Author on Seattle

seattle_public_library_200.jpgHere's a well written piece on Seattle by Gary Shteyngart in the March issue of Travel + Leisure. We learn that he spent much of his week in Seattle with his friend Christopher Frizzelle, The Stranger's Editor-in-Chief. With the guidance of the paper's food critic Bethany Jean Clement, Shteyngart sups at Cafe Presse, Ocho, The Corson Building, Cafe Besalu, Green Leaf, Unicorn, and Linda's Tavern. He also swings by Pony, where "the punk bouncer was deep into Virginia Woolf's Mrs. Dalloway. After that, nothing really makes sense." [T + L]
