With the sad closing of June last December, Restaurant Bea looks ahead to filling its space on Madrona's main drag, and Eater caught up with chef Tom Black and his business partner, Kate Perry, to see how things are shaping up. The twosome report that—fingers crossed—they’re hoping to open for service in early to mid March.
Perry, who will manage front of house, added that they’ve partnered with “Method Construction and Roy McMakin, [their] landlord, architect, and designer” to create a space where they can “provide excellent service where guests will feel welcome and cozy while enjoying Tom's fantastic food.” No word yet on who’ll be tending the bar, but they anticipate adding weekend brunch a few months after opening.
