Tasting Table has compiled a list of Best Pastry Chefs 2012, and Crumble and Flake's Neil Robertson made the cut, thanks in part to his lemon marshmallows. According to the blog, Crumble and Flake is on schedule for an April opening on Capitol Hill. Some additional info on the menu: "Expect cream puffs filled to order with pastry creams in flavors such as chocolate, goat's milk and bourbon, as well as that current darling of the pastry menu, kouign-amann."
