Check, Please! Northwest Premiere Party at Space Needle

Last Thursday at the Space Needle, KCTS 9 premiered the first episode of Check, Please! Northwest, a public television show hosted by local food writer Amy Pennington. The lively event brought out local foodies and aficionados who enjoyed an open bar and tasty appetizers while the first-ever episode of Check, Please! Northwest was broadcast on several flat screen TVs.

The momentous occasion was pure Seattle in every way, from the gorgeous locale of the skyline level of the Space Needle, to the local brews on hand at the open bar, to mac ‘n cheese made from Seattle Space Noodles pasta. Each week, a new episode of Check, Please! Northwest will feature Pennington dining out and conversing with three different guests. Expect to see iconic restaurants, chefs, and dishes featured on the show, as well as some up and comers you maybe haven’t tried yet. Check, Please is still looking for people to rep their favorite restaurants on the show.

If you didn't catch the premiere (featuring Golden Beetle, Mekong Village, and Island Soul), the full episode is available online.
