Greg Atkinson's highly anticipated Restaurant Marché will open this Saturday, March 17th. We visited over the weekend and got a preview of the bistro-like space. The restaurant will be to open for lunch and dinner Tuesday thru Saturday for the first year. Though island residents have been asking for brunch service on the Facebook page, Atkinson says brunch will have to wait a while: "No Sunday brunch during the first year. . . I want to be there whenever we are open. I have to be careful not to burn out."
Among his other accomplisments, Atkinson was formerly a chef at Canlis.
