Starbucks Aims For 100% Reusable Cups

starbucks-recycles-200.jpgStarbucks is aiming to serve 100% of its drinks in recyclable or reusable cups by 2015. (Perhaps looking to make up for all the waste they're creating by jumping into the single-serving coffee business?) Problem is, right now lots of cities can't recycle the wax-lined paper cups and reusable cups account for just 2% of drinks served by the chain. It's odd that Starbucks finds this such a vexing problem since smaller chains like Vivace and Seattle Coffee Works use compostable paper cups. [LA Weekly via -EN-]
