Rachel Yang and Seif Chirchi will move their five-year old French/ Korean restaurant Joule from its current Wallingord location to a new development called the Fremont Collective at 3506 Stone Way North. Joule will close its current location on April 30, and the Fremont Joule will open this summer. When we asked about reasons for the move, a rep tells us that the new space will allow Joule to add a full bar and a 20-seat patio.
As well, the new space will be larger with an open kitchen, designed by Heliotrope Architects. Another change will be that the Fremont Joule will offer brunch. Fans of Joule's family suppers on Sunday need not fret--expect those to continue and for the family-style service to permeate other nights as well.
