Marjorie owner Donna Moodie tells Eater that she has hired Lecosho's Lauri Carter to be her interim chef, replacing departing chef Paul Hyman. Hyman has moved over to locavore haven Local 360.
Moodie sounds very pleased with her hire, and says that after even after she finds an executive chef, she expects Carter to help with catering and consulting. Of Carter, she says, "She is amazing. We all have smiles on our faces! I'm impressed!" It's been quite the trick finding the right fit for Marjorie, so it makes sense for Moodie to take her time with a more permanent hire.
