Seattle Makes Top 10

receipt-200.jpgCongratulations, Seattle, we made another Top 10 list: this time for having one of the highest meal tax rates in the nation. Yay? According to Nation's Restaurant News, The Tax Foundation recently conducted a survey combining sales tax rates with additional meals taxes, concluding that Seattle has a combined meals tax of 10 percent — tied with DC for fourth place. The other top cities are Minneapolis, Chicago and Virginia Beach. [NRN]
