Facebook was buzzing this morning with Seattle food scene peeps joining a group called The Narwhal. Jeremy Price, co-owner of Walrus & the Carpenter broke down what it's all about:
Chef Renee Erickson along with co-owners Jeremy Price, Joe Sundberg and Chad Dale have partnered to bring Seattle The Narwhal, a comely 1960 Divco dairy van turned food truck. Our goal is to serve eats--raw oysters, oyster po' boys, trout salads, and much more--that are as tasty as the Narwhal is handsome. With former Food & Wine best chef Danielle Custer launching a grilled cheese food truck this fall, award-winning chefs launching food trucks is an official 2012 trend in Seattle.
