Revel Hires Book Bindery Alum Laura Pyles as Pastry Chef

Rachel Yang and Seif Cherchi announce that they have hired Laura Pyles as pastry chef for their critically acclaimed Korean/French fusion restaurants Revel and Joule(when it opens at its new location later this summer). Pyles has previously worked at Dahlia Bakery, Bastille, and the Book Bindery.

Desserts that Pyles will have on Joule's menu include a coconut panna cotta terrine, spicy roasted pineapple trifle, and a chocolate layered cake with Mezcal cream and tamarind caramel.
