Ethan Stowell's Ballard Pizza Company is now open, and we have a few photos that should whet your appetite. The Ballard pizza shop is the first of many fast/casual eateries that Stowell has planned for Seattle, under the "Grub Brothers Productions" rubric. New-york style cheese pizza is available by the slice($2.50) or in a pie($15). Toppings are extra. The menu also features salads, pasta, gnocchi, and specials made with local ingredients. Local microbrews on tap include Ballard neighbor Hilliard's.
Delivery service will be available in June. Hours of operation will be daily from 11am to 11pm and until 3am on Friday and Saturday. The next Grubb Brothers concept to open may be a Capitol Hill trattoria, which will share space with Heather Earnhardt's southern bakery, The Wandering Goose.
