Seattle Weekly's Hanna Raskin reviews The Fat Hen in Ballard this week. Raskin is not as enthralled with the rustic, neighborhood place, as Bethany Jean Clement was. They use Costco eggs and tend to overcook them, but Raskin concludes: "The food isn't flawless, but the fetching farmhouse decor—and knowing the restaurant's a product of its neighborhood—helps make everything taste slightly better."
