When Seattle peeps say the Roanoke, they're probably referring to the Roanoke Park Place Tavern on North Capitol Hill. This week, Seattle Times' Tan Vinh talks up the happy hour at the other Roanoke--the one on Mercer Island(well known to Factoria workers as the best nearby pub). Mercer Island's Roanoke has been in business since 1914, and Vinh says it's worth a visit for the craft beer selection and the wings. [Seattle Times]
