Is Capitol Hill ready for another Linda Derschang joint? Capitol Hill Seattle Blog says that if not, the neighborhood better suit up for Tallulah's, a bar and restaurant that will be similar to other Derschang spots in the hood(Smith and Oddfellows).
The new venture will go into a four-story mixed use project planned for the southeast corner spot at 19th Avenue East and Mercer(just across from The Kingfish Cafe). The site is currently home to a holiday crafts store, a crossfit studio, and a parking lot. According to the design documents, Tallulah's will occupy a corner spot--currently, a parking lot. Though the new spot is named after Tallulah Anderson, Derschang's daughter, she is not expected to have a role in the new eatery.
