35th Street Kitchen + Bar Reopens With a New Look

35th Street Kitchen + Bar(formerly 35th Street Bistro) reopened last week with a new snack and cocktail menu and expanded bar capacity(to 25 seats), having converted a private dining alcove to a glamorous lounge. The potted tree remains in the main dining room, but that area too, looks more modern--with the mismatched wood chairs of old being replaced by matching leather-backed ones. Chef de Cuisine Tyler Chamberlain and Pastry Chef/Owner, Michelle Citarello have packed the snacks menu with items such as Dungeness crab croquettes and smoked Onion Rings. Meanwhile, the cocktail menu is helmed by Coventry Hinkle and steers imbibers toward francophile cocktails such as the French "35" and a Lillet Rouge.
