Grand Central Bakery's Como bread makes the Saveur cut. In its most recent issue(#147 not available online), Saveur select 20 bakeries across the U.S.--where you can find the best bread. According to the mag, local flour gives the GCB loaf airiness and great taste, making it perfect for bruschette.
