Seattle Weekly food critic Hanna Raskin lavishly praises Vashon Island's La Boucherie saying that butcher Lauren Garaventa and chef Dustin Calery are "masterfully translating the island's bounty into dishes that rival any served in Seattle for visceral deliciousness." In her Raskin on Raskin feature meanwhile, she expresses frustration with friends asking for restaurant recommendations without proper guidance. To that end, she's developed a "fill-in-the-blank restaurant recommendation form," akin to MadLibs, for her friends to fill out. Quote: "I don't eat (kind of food) or (kind of food), but I'm not picky."
