This is all in celebration of Washington's Repeal Day--remember that tomorrow marks the beginning of the new era, where the state will no loger be involved in liquor distribution. MERCER ISLANDThe Stranger's David Goldstein("Goldy") prefers Goldberg's Deli to Stopsky's, because the latter hand-slices the pastrami and corned beef resulting in slices that are too thick, making for "an unnecessarily chewy sandwich." [The Stranger]

BELLTOWNThe Innkeeper is throwing a party for the neighbors on June 3 from 4 to 6 p.m. Details here. [Belltown People]
