Mediterranean bar and restaurant Hunger reopened on Fremont Avenue recently at the former Dad Watson's space. The new incarnation of Hunger is approximately three times as big as the old, though the bar is still the heart of the space. This larger Hunger is ruggedly Western and dark wood abounds. Glass candle holders and metal fixtures add shine and glints of color and light to the dark space. Hunger just began serving brunch last weekend, so if you're hankering for pork belly pancakes, give these guys a try. For those of you who brunch late, Hunger even offers a special "Hangover Hour" from 1-2pm, where all bloody marys and mimosas are $5 and you get half off the food.
