Salumi's oxtail sandwich lost out to Portland's Big-Ass Sandwiches in last week's Northwest showdown episode of Adam Richman's Best Sandwich in America. But, its popularity in town is undiminished: today is/was Oxtail sandwich day at Salumi, and the line reportedly began at 10 a.m. (an hour before opening).
