Tom Douglas Will Open Diner in New Amazon Campus

Brace. A highly-placed source tells Eater that not only will 2012 Beard Outstanding Restaurateur Tom Douglas open a falafel place at the Paramount but he's also planning a diner for the new Amazon downtown campus taking shape on 6th Avenue between Lenora and Blanchard. The source says that the diner will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner—and that dinner service will focus on steak. There is a design review meeting tonight for the whole mixed use project, if you live in the area or are otherwise interested. No comment from the Tom Douglas organization yet.
