Big changes afoot over at Tom Douglas Restaurants. Months after celebrating its one-year anniversary, Tibetan dumpling shop Ting Momo will close, says Seattle Met. Chef Dekyi ("Cheeky") Thonden's fans need not fret though, as her momos will be available at Dahlia Lounge. Look for a "Ting Mobile" food truck in the future, as well.
Beginning September 1, filled-to-the-brim Brave Horse Tavern will annex the Ting Momo space. It will be renamed the Tack Room and will serve as Brave Horse's private dining space. Tack Room will have 24 beer taps, a full bar, and games galore—including the hipster-favored arcade game, Buck Hunter. Douglas hopes to replicate the success of the remaining South Lake Union eateries with a new diner envisioned for Amazon's planned Downtown campus.
