Owner Keeman Wong's take on modern Cantonese cuisine at Bako is no more and the restaurant served its last customers on August 23, per Capitol Hill Seattle. The beautiful decor and smart cocktails did not redress service lapses and sometimes bland food. After dining there in February, Tom Douglas predicted that Bako wouldn't make it. Meanwhile, Seattle Met reports that Capitol Hill's favorite barpreneur Linda Derschang plans to open a bar/restaurant in the space called Bait Shop.
